Behind the Camera

Rory O’Chee has an incredible back story.  The 27 year old is one of just a dozen people around the world to have obtained an undergraduate degree, and is also Australia’s most awarded fine art landscape photographer.

But that is just the back story. The real story is his art.

His photography is unfiltered.  It shows that landscape in all its beauty, and with crystal clarity.  There are no oversaturated images, no fake skies, no photoshopping of images to create something that isn’t real.

This is the landscape as it truly exists, in places most people never visit.

Every photograph is the result of care consideration of the landscape and scene selection.  Sometimes Rory might wait up to an hour for the perfect light - a precious few minutes of colour, shadow and contrast that are captured forever.  And all using the highest quality lenses and cameras. These are not photos produced in their thousands.

Each work of art is part of a small run numbered edition.

Each piece is printed on archival art rag, silk, or occasionally on 23 carat gold leaf panels.  There is no cheap canvas, nor cut price printing that will fade in a few years.  Everything is made using the finest production methods to last one hundred years or longer.

This is fine art landscape photography like you might never have seen.
